Thank you to all those volunteer community members who assisted in the Park Planning Activities this summer. The bottle and can donations that Roy drops off at Sarcan Outlook has raised close to $2000 this year. Proceeds go to the supplies and equipment needed for the Summer Youth Program run by Paula, Naomi and their trusty youth helpers. The 50/50 at the July long weekend also goes to the youth program. Ellen Manson secured a grant that allows for the youth program development and honorariums. The basket raffle/SLGA proceeds plus a top off from other Park Planning revenues and donations will allow us to direct $10,000 towards the Hitchcock Bay Mower fund.Great work Hitchcock Bay residents. ...
